A manuscript in three parts. The first part, possibly in the autograph of Thomas Jones (alias Twm Siôn Cati), comprises heraldry, with coloured illustrations of the coats of arms of the Britons and of the princes of North and South Wales, together with a number of their pedigrees (pp. 1-136). The second part comprises the pedigrees of the mothers of some of the principal families in Wales, together with a description of their coats of arms (pp. 137-178). The third part comprises poetry, a large portion of which is in the autograph of John Jones, Gellilyfdy (pp. 179-202).

A manuscript entitled 'Llyfr Sion ap Wiliam ap Sion o Englynion' (p. 1), being a collection of englynion compiled between 1605 (p. 78) and 1618 (p. 872) by John Jones, Gellilyfdy, Flintshire.

A manuscript containing cywyddau and other poetry by Sion Cent, Raff ap Robert, and many others; transcripts by John Jones, Gellilyfdy, of pedigrees and poetry; receipts for the rents of the Chirk Castle estate in Merionethshire, Denbighshire and Salop, collected by Thomas Prichard, Halton, 1651-1666; Mold and Hope pedigrees and other miscellaneous pedigrees; an incomplete rental of lands in Aberwheeler [sic] and Bottvary [sic], 1613; an agreement regarding building works, 1542; a grant of land in Collushal [sic], Flintshire, 1315; a release of lands in the township of Pentraeth, Anglesey, 1497; a list of five Dolben deeds in the custody of Thomas Mayo, Ruthin, 1612; miscellanea including correspondence and poetry.

A collection of vaticinatory poems and prose, mostly in Welsh, and mostly written between 1607 (p. 13) and 1623 (p. 602) by John Jones, Gellilyfdy (pp. 1-568, 575-640). Part of the volume is entitled 'Llyfr Sion ap Wiliam ap Sion o hen vrudieu yr hen veirdd' (p. 1).
