A summary of extracts from chapter acts, 1674-1733. It also contains a list of the bishops of the diocese, 1175-1708, a list of the deans, 1279-1706, and extracts from early registers and records relating to the dean and chapter.

A volume consists of 24 folios of miscellaneous memoranda belonging to the late 14th or early 15th cent. It records, inter alia, pleas held at Flint in the reigns of Edward III and Richard II. One such record refers to an agreement between the Bishop and Dean and Chapter of St. Asaph and the tenants of seven lecti within the township of Llanelwy. Approximately half the volume (folios 6-18), consists of an extent and rental of these lecti.
