The papers include, a map showing Roman Camp extension, 13 June 1939; correspondence concerning the purchase of land from the Penrhyn Estate for a new residence for the Bishop, and the sale of the old Llys Esgob, Menai Bridge, 1961; correspondence and papers from the Penrhyn estate to the Representative Body of the Church in Wales (RB), 1961-1963 relating to the purchase of land at Upper Garth Road from the Penrhyn Estate, and land belonging to 'Anneddle' by the RB; the papers include copies of contract, conditions of sale, conveyances (including a draft conveyance of the property known as Anneddle, by Lord Penrhyn, to the present owner, 31 Oct. 1932), maps and plans; correspondence and copies of legal documents relating to the sale of land at Anneddle and Isallt, Upper Garth Road, 1963-1964; correspondence from Lord Penrhyn to the Bangor Corporation regarding Bangor open spaces, 1934-1960 including correspondence, maps, draft leases, and draft contracts relating to the purchase of public open spaces by the Bangor Corporation, 1934-1947. The lands in question include 'Camp Hill', 'Garth Point', 'Cliff Cottage', 'Siliwen', and Bangor Mountain etc. The papers were used in relation to the purchase of land for the new Bishop's residence.
