Abergwessin Vicarage, Builth. Request to know whether the tithe of some farms paid to the vicar of Llanafan Fawr should be paid to writer. Endorsed with copy reply.

Letter from Jones, John,

Ystrad. Request for support in the forthcoming borough election, and declaring himself in favour of the Reform Bill without compromising the rights of absent burgesses. [See L4103]. [He subsequently voted against the Bill in Parliament]. Inside is a forwarding letter from J. J's wife commenting on the election and stating that Captain Philipps of Cwmgwilli intends standing against John Jones of Ystrad. She also includes a copy of Sir James Hamlyn Williams's election address.

Llandovery. Offering to sell J. J. a farm called Cwmpriddfa which a client of T.J. bought at the Edwinsford sale, as he has discovered that J. J. was also interested in buying the property. Endorsed with copy reply declining the offer.

Glandennis, Lampeter. The reason for his brother's absence from the Carmarthen races; a testimonial to Major Lewis of Llanllear. Enclosed is part of a letter from his brother, L3065a.

Carmarthen. The mason's bill for repairing the roof of the Talbot office on the Quay, the property of the late Rev. G. Enoch. Endorsed with copy reply stating that the money should be paid from the rents of the Talbot office.

Letter from Jones Loyd & Co,

London. They have lodged an additional credit for £100 with Mr. de Lassanouze in J. J's favour. Addressed to France, and endorsed with a letter in French from Mr. de Lassanouze. [See L3086-88, 3102].
