The Montgomery Collection (Lymore estate) in p's Montgomery, Chirbury, Churchstoke, Llandysul, Llanmerewig, and Berriw, co. This combination anticipates the major re-arrangement of the rent-collecting system in 1779. RK1 contains also Myfod, Pool, Guilsfield, and Buttington lease tithes.

The Court of Record or Borough Sessions was held every fortnight before the bailiffs of Llanfyllin. A series of documents of considerable social and legal interest with particulars of attorneys practicing in the local court from time to time comprising of writs, bonds for appearance, declarations, pleadings and depositions mainly in pleas of debt (some referred from the Council of the Marches), with occasional slander suits. There do not appear to be any surviving proceedings of the Small court, or Baron Court, of the borough though it continued to be held after the grant of the Governing Charter. The reference MA 677 was not used.
