Funding

Voluntary Arts Wales conference

Conference schedule and correspondence relating to the Celfyddydau Gwirfoddol Cymru/Voluntary Arts Wales conference titled Yn Llawn Haeddu'r Sylw/Worth Making A Song And Dance About, held at Craig y Nos Castle in the Swansea Valley, 2-3 November 2002, at which Jen Wilson provided musical entertainment. While there is a possibility that she may have attended the remainder of the conference as a delegate, there is no definite evidence that Jen Wilson gave a talk during the event.

Papers of the Jazz Heritage Wales archive, comprising material relating to what was initially known as the Women's Jazz Archive, later Women in Jazz, and finally Jazz Heritage Wales, which reflect the archive's founding and development, its aims and objectives and its wide-ranging involvement in the field of contemporary and historical jazz music. Together with material relating to the archive's founder Jen Wilson, reflecting her interest, involvement and personal achievements in the fields of music, media, education and history, particularly women's social history. The archive also includes material relating to organisations and projects in which Jen Wilson participated but for which she was not solely responsible.

Papers relating to the Women's Jazz Archive oral history project, largely comprising transcribed interviews and correspondence, including material relating to the official opening of the archive on 26 June 1993; material relating to prominent archive contributors Blanche Finlay, Ottilie Patterson and Elaine Delmar; and material relating to the Heritage Lottery Funded project Wales, Slavery and Music - the Unknown Inheritance (for which see also Funding: 2004).
