The papers principally consist of letters, and related items, from Thomas Bassett of Bonvilston, solicitor, to Sir Lewen Powell Glyn, 3rd bart, his sister Anna, and mother Lady Catherine, concerning the sale of the Creiga[u] Estate in Cadoxton-juxta-Neath, Glamorgan, 1827-1829, 1839 (ff. 10-25), and Coed y Gloria, Llanedeyrn, Glamorgan, 1827-1838 (ff. 26-47); a valuation, by Evan W[illiams] David, Radyr Court, of Lady Catherine Glyn's properties in Glamorgan, 1842 (ff. 48-55); and correspondence of Sir George Glyn, 4th bart., with his land agent Evan W. David, 1860-1872, on various matters (ff. 59-76, 82-83, 88-91), and with T[homas] Picton Turbervill of Ewenny Abbey [i.e. Ewenny Priory], 1870-1871, concerning mineral rights at Trebanog, Llantrisant (ff. 78-81, 84-87).
