Cardiganshire Liberal Association,

Correspondence and other papers relating to the activities of the Cardiganshire Liberal Association, 1917-1923, in particular the selection of a parliamentary candidate, and reflecting the schism in the ranks of local Asquithian and Lloyd Georgian supporters. The correspondents include J. H. Davies (2) 1917, Captain Ernest Evans (1) 1921, Professor T. A. Levi (2) 1921-1923, Sir Rhys Hopkin Morris (2) 1922, and W. Llewelyn Williams (3) 1918-1921.

Churchill Presentation Fund,

Correspondence, list of subscribers and financial papers, 1954-1955, relating to the fund set up in connection with the presentation by members of both houses of Parliament to Sir Winston Churchill on his eightieth birthday of a portrait of Churchill by Graham Sutherland. The papers were accumulated by Roderic Bowen as treasurer of the fund.

Bank statements, 1954-1955, in connection with the Churchill Presentation Fund; they show that a larger proportion of Labour Members of Parliament contributed towards the presentation than Conservatives and that their contributions were generally higher.
