Autograph album

An autograph album, 1870-1907, belonging to Morris Davies containing cut-out signatures which have been pasted-in under sections entitled 'Royalties, Archbishops, Dukes, Duchesses, Marquis, Marchionesses, Earls, Countesses, Viscounts, Bishops, Barons, Baronesses, Baronets, Baronets' wives, Knights, Actors, Actresses' and 'Celebrities'.

Game and vermin book

A volume, 1873-1917, entitled 'Game Book and Vermin Book' belonging to Morris Davies. As well as listing the type of game killed there are remarks on the hunting and comments on the weather conditions. The number of vermin killed is listed separately between 1873 and 1878.

Letters to Morris Davies

Thirty-seven letters, 1892-1923, addressed to Morris Davies relating to personal, business and estate matters. Also included is a letter, 1833, addressed to George William Parry, Llidiardau, Llanilar (f. 1), Davies's father-in-law by his first marriage, and to James Davies, Trefechan, 1837 (f. 3), Davies's father.

Sixty-six letters, 1889-1911, addressed to Morris Davies, and pasted into a notebook. Several of the letters, 1909, were written on the occasion of Davies's departure from Rugby, where he had served as secretary of the Old Rugbeian Society.

Llanychaearn Church dispute papers

Letters and legal papers relating to the case of Vaughan Davies, plaintiff, and Sarah Davies, Mary Davies, Anne Davies, Hugh Stephens Richardes, Morris Davies, Morgan Davies and Lewis Lewis, defendants, regarding a claim for contributions by the defendants towards a sum paid by the plaintiff to the Aberystwyth branch of the National and Provincial Bank of England in connection with the rebuilding of Llanychaearn church. The dispute was apparently the result of a long-standing rift between parties which included the question of siting the church choir.
