Notebook, 1822-1841, of David Davies containing autograph poetry and an incomplete autobiographical sketch (inverted text pp. 169-172). Bound into the volume (pp. 51-58) is a copy of an elegy by David Davies ('Dafydd ap Dewi, Brynyffynnon'), Rhybydd o Dragwyddoldeb mewn ffordd o Alar Gan ... Sara Efans, unig ferch Y Parch Daniel Efans, Mynydd Bach ... (Abertawy, 1822).

A volume, in Welsh, containing a detailed record kept by David Rees Davies, in journal form, of events during his ministry at Tabernacl Baptist church, Foxhole, 1878-1901 (NLW MS 22248iC). Included are details of preaching engagements and of baptisms and burials at Tabernacl and other chapels in the area; together with a list of baptisms, 1875-1891, and burials, 1874-1894, of members of Tabernacl church (inverted text ff. 68v-70v). Papers found loose inside the volume have been filed separately (NLW MS 22248iiC) and include a letter of commendation, 1840, to David Davies to minister from the Independent Society meeting at Tre-boeth (item 1).

A detailed account, 1838-1839, by the Rev. David Davies, Tre-boeth, of the strife at Mynydd-bach Congregational church, Swansea, caused by the minister's liking for liquor and by his dubious methods of horse-dealing.

David Davies, Tre-boeth, all except four (1829-1832, pp. 178-209) written 1842-1845, with notes appended of where they were preached, 1842-1866, an index (ff. iii verso-v) and a few personal memoranda. Two of the sermons were preached at Foxhole, 1876-1878 (pp. 69, 200) probably by the Rev. D[avid] R[ees] Davies.
