A scrapbook of press cuttings, election handbills and other items relating to the parliamentary by-election of June 1934 when J. Victor Evans stood as the Liberal candidate against the Labour victor S. O. Davies and polled a total of 10,376 votes.

File of J. Victor Evans's research notes and papers relating to Henry Richard. Among the papers are manuscript drafts and notes prepared for J. Victor Evans's article 'Henry Richard: the Apostle of Peace' which was published in the Welsh Outlook for March 1924, and which was subsequently re-printed as a pamphlet later in the same year by the Welsh National Council of the League of Nations Union. There is also an incomplete draft of an apparently unpublished work entitled 'Henry Richard and his contribution to the Peace Movement in the Nineteenth Century'. The papers also include typescript talks and lectures on Henry Richard and a typescript radio talk entitled 'Henry Richard as an Orator', dated 25 February 1932.

Holograph letters, August 1830-December 1831, from Henry Richard to his father Ebenezer Richard of Tregaron while the former was a theological student at Highbury College, London. Number 7 is penned jointly by Henry Richard and his brother Edward who was a medical student in London at the time.

Miscellaneous printed items, including the programmes of Cymdeithas Cymrodorion Pontypridd, 1912-13, and the Warden's First and Second Annual Reports, 1936-7 and 1937-8, of the Aberdare Valley Educational Settlement (Coleg Gwerin Cynon Aberdâr). J. Victor Evans was the settlement's first warden.
