Press cuttings,

Miscellaneous press cuttings, c.1841-1861 pasted over the leaves of an incomplete copy of Reports of the commissioners of inquiry into the state of education in Wales ... part 3, north Wales (London, 1847). Besides some material relating to Ab Ithel the cuttings include accounts of the loss of the 'Royal Charter', 1859, and poetry by James Kenward ('Elfynydd') and R. W. Morgan ('Mor Meirion'). There are also one or two coats of arms, a few manuscript items, and a water-colour drawing. Another volume of press cuttings, c.1870-1898, containing in addition two legends in the autograph of Ab Ithel taken from Lives of the Cambro-British Saints and printed in The Cambrian Journal, 1860, p. 262.
