The file comprises papers relating to Geraint Goodwin (1903-1941), novelist and short story writer, and especially to Sam Adams' essay on Geraint Goodwin in the Writers of Wales series (1975), and to The Collected Short Stories of Geraint Goodwin (1976) edited by Roland Mathias and Sam Adams. Included are typescript copies of letters written by Geraint Goodwin, 1931-1938; letters from his wife, Rhoda Goodwin to Sam Adams, 1972-1975; three radio scripts based on writing by Geraint Goodwin, 1940-1946; a broadcast script of a programme about his short stories, 1958, and a volume of poems by Geraint Godwin entitled 'A First sheaf'.
