The series consists of press cuttings, 1968-1987, mainly from the Western Mail or from local Pembrokeshire newspapers, with a few taken from national newspapers. Most of the cuttings concern the political life of Pembrokeshire, most especially Nicholas Edwards's political career and events which he attended within the county. A few of the cuttings relate to national political events.

Retirement and peerage,

The file contains letters and messages to Nicholas Edwards on his retirement as the Conservative MP for Pembrokeshire and congratulating him on the award of a peerage in the 1987 Dissolution Honours List.
