Farm account book of Leslie M. E. Lea, Glanfraed Farm, Llandre, co. Card., containing records of initial costs, running expenses, wages, purchases etc. of Glanfraed Farm and Llechwedd-mawr Sheep Walk. Included are a statement of rent due to Sir Lewes Pryse and Major Evans, a receipt from the North Cardiganshire Badminton Club, and the address of A. Forsell, Thurnby, Leicestershire.
Account book of co. Card. Turnpike Roads, containing records of receipts from gates, road rates, etc. and of expenditure on wages, materials, repairs, stationery etc.
Account book of the Brig Renown built at Cardigan, 1816, tonnage 87, captain David C. Julian. The brig travelled mainly between ports in the British Isles carrying cargoes of coal, iron, timber, oats, salt etc. A voyage to Russia and the Baltic is recorded in 1824.
Tithes rental and stated account book for Llanrhystud, co. Card., 1852-1863, kept by David Evans, Wernfach, and containing lists of names, addresses, amounts due, etc. Enclosed are leaves from an exercise book containing expenses for 1873 and a copy of a circular regarding payment of tithes.
Share ledger of a company which operated in the Aberaeron area. The majority of the shareholders were farmers living between Llanrhystud and Llannarth and inland as far as Ciliau Aeron and Cilcennin.

Also included are various papers, letters, and statements relating to the buying of shares and to the liquidation of the company in 1892.

Minute book of the North Cardiganshire Shire Horse Society, containing minutes of the management committee's meetings which were held to discuss the hiring of stallions, conditions of membership, finance etc. Cuttings of printed reports and accounts are included.
Notebook of Thomas Owen, Aberdyfi, containing headings and contents of sermons preached at Aberdyfi C. M. chapel by the minister, the Rev. Francis Jones, and by various visiting preachers, including Elias Jones, Ffestiniog, John Williams, Aberystwyth, William Davies, Llanegryn, D. Davies, Abermaw, and others.
Statement of quantities of materials required,
Printed pamphlet headed Rheolau er Llywodraethu Cymdeithas Undebol Mwynwyr Sir Aberteifi [Rules for governing the United Society of co. Card. Miners]. The pamphlet was published by order of the working committee and printed by William Williams, Heol Fawr, Aberystwyth. The rules were taken from the rules of the Bolton & Hanley United Society and state general regulations for the constitution of the governing body and the duties of its officials. The pamphlet is not dated but the secretary of the working committee, James Mathias, was probably a Baptist minister who resided at Penrhyn-coch and who left the area in 1874.
Sale Book of Edward Ellis, auctioneer and furniture dealer, containing records of sales at his auction mart of household goods and miscellaneous items. In 1880 his address was 5 Little Great Darkgate St [now Eastgate St] and later his premises were at 18 Pier St and 28 Little Great Darkgate St [1891-93], all in Aberystwyth. He is mentioned in No. 2.
Farm account book of David Rees, Penblodeuyn, and later Pantyddwyfoel [now Pantygwifol], Llanilar, co. Card. In addition to accounts, the book contains poetry and writings on various topics such as Jealousy and Temperance by D. Rees.
Record of contributions and expences of Capel y Dyffryn, Goginan [a Welsh C. M. chapel], 1852-67,
The first chapel was built in 1843 and its members were farmers, lead miners, and craftsmen. The chapel did not have its own minister but was under the care of the Rev. Thomas Edwards, Penllwyn. A new chapel was built 1863-1864 and its first minister was Thomas Davies in 1869. A printed booklet, Capel y Dyffryn, Goginan, 1844 - 1964: cyfarfodydd dathlu canmlwyddiant y capel was published [Llandysul] in 1964.
