A commonplace book of Robert Owen (1820-1902: DNB, Second Supp., Vol. III, p. 61) of Bron-y-Graig, Barmouth, theologian, clergyman, and author. It contains poems composed by himself and others, extracts from works read by him, and diary entries, 1834-1836, made when he was a pupil at Ruthin School, these entries having numerous references to Nannau and other North Wales country houses and to persons connected with them.
