A collection of 'cywyddau' by Rhys Goch Eryri (fl. beginning of 15th cent.) transcribed in 1794 by David Ellis, Criccieth (1736-1795), for Zaccheus Hughes, Trefan, Eifionydd. Loose in the volume is a letter dated 27 December 1859 from William Jones, Beddgelert to William Williams (d. 1883), rector of Llangeinwen and Llangaffo, enclosing two further 'cywyddau' by Rhys Goch Eryri and bibliographical notes relating to him.

The correspondents include John Davies and Jennet Davies (Vronheulog, Llandderfel), Richard Longfield (Longueville), Richard Garnons (Colomendy), Christopher Bethell, bishop of Bangor (1773-1859), O[wen] J[ones] E[llis] Nanney (Gwynfryn), Spencer Bulkeley Wynn, 3rd baron Newborough (1803-1888), Florance George Henry, 5th baron Boston (1837-1877), and James Colquhoun Campbell, bishop of Bangor (fl. 1859-1895).
