One of four volumes containing about five hundred and fifty autograph letters written to Henry Taylor (1845-1927), mainly during the last quarter of the nineteenth century and the first quarter of the twentieth century.

A collection of printed and other material preserved by Henry Taylor (1845-1927), mainly relating to the quincentenary of the surrender of King Richard II (1367-1400) to Henry Bolingbroke (afterwards King Henry IV (1367-1413)) at Flint Castle on 21 August 1399, celebrated at Flint on 21 August 1899. The material includes printed programmes and particulars of the performance of Shakespeare's King Richard II by Sir Francis Robert Benson (1858-1939) and his Shakespearean company; press cuttings; letters to Henry Taylor; personalia of Henry Taylor; etc.
