The series comprises various papers, 1950-2001, which appear to have been acquired during the production of the New Welsh Review, and accumulated by individuals involved with the journal.

Included are images, poems and short stories submitted to the Review; poetry reports; the Reviews Editor's file; papers relating to an article on Shakespeare's Welsh connection; the campaign supporting R. S. Thomas's nomination for the Nobel Prize for Literature 1996; a poem by Nigel Jenkins on George Thomas, Viscount Tonypandy; and a series of articles entitled 'Welsh greats of the century'.

Papers, 1986-2001, relating to various marketing issues concerning the New Welsh Review, together with mostly printed material relating to the Welsh Arts Council, subsequently the Arts Council of Wales, which offers financial support to the journal.
