It also includes an agreement for letting Blackmoore Farm, and authority for his wife to continue farming.

The letters relate to his ministry, enquiries regarding the Catholic Church, personal medical matters, letters from family and friends, information about properties for sale (mostly farms), financial investments, etc. There are also five letters in his own hand.
