Tewdwr Mawr; Anarawd; Tudwal Gloff

The first of a series of twenty-one volumes, watermarks 1910-1911, containing transcripts by E. Noyes from a copy of the Golden Grove Book of Pedigrees. This volume contains the genealogies of the descendants of Tewdwr Mawr (ff. 1-52), Anarawd (ff. 53-60), and Tydwal Gloff (ff. 61-120). Cuttings pasted onto the inside of the front cover are taken from the Transactions of the Carmarthenshire Antiquarian Society and Field Club, 6 (1910-11), 72-73. Source noted as A 1-117.

Release to uses of a burgage in Morgannock Ward, Brecon,

1 Gwenllian Prichard, of Brecon, widow. 2 Thomas James, of the same; and Henry Mitchell of p. Battle in the same county. Release of a burgage in Brecon in a street or ward called Morgannock Ward to be held to the use of the said Gwenllian during her life, with remainder to Elizabeth daughter of William Carter of Battle, subject to the distribution of 10s. in bread every Christmas Eve to the poor of p. Battle aforesaid.

Quarter Sessions order book,

Orders made at the Quarter Sessions for Breconshire from Michaelmas 1670 to Hilary 1685, together with records of licences granted to agisters and inn-keepers at quarter and special sessions from 23 to 26 Charles II. Bound in leather boards. This volume has been returned to the Clerk of the Peace for Brecknockshire with the consent of the Executor of the depositor. (signed) W. Ll. Davies, 1933.
