Statement by George Frere of arrears of payments due from the Clydach Ironworks to Mrs Frere and J. H. Frere, amounting to £1,250 and £9,353.9.5 respectively; it is claimed that Frere had, contrary to agreement, paid interest on a mortgage to Messrs Milkins & Co. and laid out profits in an expansion of the works at Clydach; it is intimated that, if Scale did not pay immediately the arrears due to Mrs Frere and continue the quarterly payments ordered to be paid to her by J. H. Frere, he would put his securities in force to compel the immediate payment of the balance due to him and apply to Chancery to have another manager appointed in Scale's place.
