Personal letters written in Welsh from Jonathan Davies's friend Henry Jones (1841-1936), Lightning Creek, Cariboo, British Columbia, formally a native of Llangybi, Caernarfonshire. Most relate to life in British Columbia, and his religious readings. Includes a biography of Henry Jones, an ex-member of the British Columbia legislature, a pioneer in the early gold-mining days in Cariboo, in the form of a cutting from 'Vancouver Sunday Province', 11 March 1928, and an announcement of his death in the Daily Post, 23 March 1936.

Ffestiniog, at a rent of £25 per annum, 1874.
