Speeches,

Due to pressure of time at the time of sorting, the speeches were numbered with little regard for chronology. Since many of the speeches are dateable the volumes have been provided with tables for suggested dates.

No. 3044 is the typescript of a newspaper article. No. 3045 is made up of fragments of speeches. Owen family papers, numbered 3241-3322, mostly relating to Richard Owen, 1855-1903. They include several bills of sale and other documents connected with ownership of shares in ships. No. 3289 is a receipt to Margaret LlG, 1913, for a share in a vessel being built at Porthmadog.
