Letters to John Morris,

Letters to John Morris, 1957-1983, together with, in some cases, typescript copies of his replies. On occasion, there are draft replies of letters to be sent out, prepared to be typed up by a secretary. Many of the incoming letters are from other politicians and from officials of the Labour Party, some are from the constituents of Aberavon. Many of the letters from politicians are written in their capacity as ministers of the crown and penned in response to various constituents' problems. There are many letters from prominent Labour politicians. Many letters invite John Morris to attend various functions and events. The letters discuss all kinds of subjects and themes, many relate to matters within the Aberavon constituency.
