The file comprises letters to and from J. L. C. Cecil-Williams (Honourary Secretary of the Society) and various papers relating to establishment of the Sir Henry Jones Memorial, including deeds of purchase of two cottages at Llangernyw, Denbighshire (in one of which Sir Henry Jones was born). There is a copy of the Sir Henry Jones memorial ceremony programme, held in Llangernyw, 13 July 1934, together with newspaper reports of the meeting and two black and white photographs of the memorial tablet. Financial papers include statements of account and a balance sheet, receipts, and lists of subscribers to the memorial.

There is also a list of taverns and coffee houses used for meetings of the Trustees in the late eighteenth century, and the London Stone Tavern in Cannon Street, one of these venues, was chosen to hold the celebratory dinner in.
