[Glynderwen Soldiers]

Half-length portrait of two soldiers, possibly brothers. The soldier on the left has a signaller qualification badge, the soldier on the right has an RGA (Royal Garrison Artillery) shoulder strap title, a good-conduct chevron and two wound stripes.

[Officer, Royal Artillery]

Full-length studio portrait of an officer in the Royal Artillery. On his jacket lapels he has a Royal Artillery collar badge and a 'T' denoting membership of the Territorial Army. He is standing with his arms behind his back preventing identification of his rank.

[Soldier and his wife]

A studio portrait of a soldier wearing the 1916 economy tunic photographed with, presumably, his wife. She is seated on a rustic chair whilst he is standing behind her. Possibly he has been conscripted into the army. No indication of regiment / unit.

D C Harries, Rhosmaen Street, Llandilo.

[Soldier in Royal Field Artillery with lady friend]

Half-length studio portrait of a young couple. He is in the uniform of the Royal Field Artillery and has a good conduct stripe on his sleeve. There appears to be a divisional patch on his shoulder, which with reference to DCH Mil 233 appears to be that of the Ninth Division. In DCH Mil233 three overseas chevrons are visible. His companion does not appear to be wearing a wedding or engagement ring.
