Thomas, Gader House.

A couple, both in military uniform. He, presumably Mr Thomas, wears the polar bear divisional patch of the 49th (West Riding) Infantry Division. His shoulder title ends with 'M.E.' She, presumably Mrs Thomas, has what maybe a circular cloth recognition patch on her left breast pocket.

[The Likely Lads]

Studio portrait of two privates and a corporal in the Pembroke Yeomanry. The private in the centre of the photo holds a bugle and wears a bugler's trade badge.

[Territorial Soldier in the Pembroke Yeomanry]

Three quarter length portrait of a soldier in the Pembroke Yeomanry. The embroidered star on his lower right sleeve is a Territorial Proficiency Star awarded to Territorial Force soldiers after four (or five - depending on the colour) years proficient service.

D C Harries, Rhosmaen Street, Llandilo.

[Tank Regiment Veteran]

A second Lieutenant in the Tank Regiment with three overseas service chevrons and four medals. Of the medals l-r British War Medal, Allied Victory Medal and what appear to be two Army Long Service and Good Conduct medals, one bearing the profile of King Edward VII, the other George V. The sitter is sitting in a doorway, not a photographic studio.

[Studio portrait of an officer]

Three quarter-length portrait of an officer in the Welsh Regiment. It is not immediately apparent as to his rank as his hands are folded behind his back. However three bands of braid can be seen on his right sleeve indicating that he is at least a colonel. The lack of medal ribbons suggests the photograph was taken prior to the cessation of hostilities.

D C Harries, Rhosmaen Street, Llandilo.

[Studio portrait of a young couple]

Studio portrait of a young couple. Seated is a young lady displaying a wedding and engagement rings and holding a posy of roses with fern leaves. On her lapel is a sweetheart's badge depicting the insignia of the South Staffordshire Regiment. Standing next to her is, presumably, her husband in the uniform of a soldier in the South Staffordshire Regiment.
