Orchestral parts, mostly 'symphax' copies, some original copies (violins 1 and 2; viola; cello; double bass; flutes 1 and 2; oboes 1 and 2; clarinets 1 and 2; bassons 1 and 2; horns 1, 2, 3 and 4; trumpets 1 and 2; trombones 1, 2 and 3; bass tuba; timpani; harp; tam-tam and xylophone). [He won an Arts Council prize for this orchestral overture].

Also included are reproductions of photographs, concert programmes, a letter from Prince Charles, 1981, wishing him well on his retirement from his post at the Department of German, Swedish and Russian at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, and an appreciation by Ian Parrott .
