'Llyfr Gwyn y Wenallt',

A composite folio volume entitled 'Llyfr Gwyn y Wenallt 1878 ... sef casgliad o hynafiaethau gan y Parch. Benjamin Williams ('Gwynionydd')'. It consists largely of pedigrees: Cardiganshire families, Saunders Davies of Pentre, W. Basil Jones, bishop of St Davids, Cilbronau, Walter D. Jones, Llancych, Howel of Llanglydwen, Lewis of Gernos (extracted from a case touching the partition of the estate, 1761), Llwynybrain, Brigstocke of Blaenpant, Lloyd of Bronwydd, etc., with insets in the hand of H. Tobit Evans and Alcwyn C. Evans. At the end are a few poems, 1877-1885, by 'Gwynionydd' including 'Un o res o benillion a ddanfones Dafydd Hywel at gyfaill yn Llundain mewn attebiad i lythyr a ddywedai ei fod ef ai gyfeillion yn mwynhau gwyliau llawen yn Llundain. Yr oedd Dafydd Hywel yn hen-hen-dadcu i mi', 'Cwyn yr unig, sef llinellau hiraethlawn ar ol fy anwyl briod, ... Meh. 15 1877', etc. Formerly D. Pryse Williams 133.

'Llyfr Amwythig',

'Llyfr Amwythig' being a transcript in 1836 by D. Jones Lewis of pedigrees from a manuscript in the possession of the Rev. J. Jenkins ('Ifor Ceri'), and Rhydygors pedigrees from a manuscript in the possession of David John Edwards, Esq. The volume was presented by the copyist to William Jones, Dalar Wen, near Ystradffin, and subsequently, on 18 April 1882, by Morgan Jones, Dalar Wen, to Benjamin Williams ('Gwynionydd'). Formerly D.
