The series consists of files relating to the activities of the Communist Party in Wales, including Welsh Executive Committee minutes, papers relating to devolution, local government, industry, and miscellaneous material, 1939-1998. Most files include material on a range of different subjects. Dates are wide ranging in some cases, and appear to be files that have been gathered together for a certain meeting or other purpose. Further details of the contents of the files are noted on file level when of particular importance. Some files are specifically Young Communist League, Llanelli branch, North Wales area, Secretariat and correspondence files. The minute book of the New Era Union Class, 1916-1919, is also included.
