[Leg, buttock & buoy]

Right leg and buttock of a woman wearing a bathing costume standing near a navigation buoy on a sandy beach. The photo has been taken from ankle level.

[Sunbather]

A woman, probably Joy Thomas, sunbathing with her costume pulled down to expose her back to the sun. On her right is a small oblong mirror.

[Two British Soldiers with a Bren gun]

Two soldiers wearing uniform and tin hats lying on the ground in a cemetery with a Bren Gun. The soldier on the right of the gun (a corporal) is holding a spare magazine, the other soldier is looking along the sights of the gun with a finger on the trigger. On his left sleeve is an embroidered badge of a crown in a wreath. This is suggestive of him being a quartermaster.

Joy Thomas.

[Guildfords Notable Buildings]

A series of murals painted on a brick wall depicting, clockwise from top, Guildford Cathedral, Clock Tower, Holy Trinity Church, entrance to Livery Stables at the Angel Hotel, Tunsgate, and the town clock (centre).

[Ifor Thomas at work]

Ifor Thomas seated and studying a piece of paper in his left hand. A young man in shorts and short-sleeved shirt looks on. Sketches are visible on the reverse of the paper.
