[Cleaning a wound]

A close up of an arm with numerous abrasions and/or dirty marks being cleaned. One hand of the person cleaning the arm is holding a piece of cotton wool, the other is holding a piece of gauze bandage over the inside of the elbow. A scrubbing brush and Izal Toilet Soap are in a nearby bowl.

[Revolvers]

Two revolvers, similar to army standard issue placed on a copy of the [Daily ?] Chronicle dated March 2 1938 detailing a gun battle between criminals and the police.The two policemen mentioned both received the Police Medal for Gallantry in the New Years Honours list for 1939.
