[Two policemen]

Two policemen wearing the insignia of the Glamorgan Constabulary. Their collars identify them as constables C18 and C16. C18 is believed to be Vernon, brother of Ifor Thomas.

[Two men in an artists studio]

Two men, one seated, studying a photographic print. On the table in front of them is a pile of magazines including an 'Amateur Photographer' with two girls blowing bubbles on the cover.

[Two British Soldiers with a Bren gun]

Two soldiers wearing uniform and tin hats lying on the ground in a cemetery with a Bren Gun. The soldier on the right of the gun (a corporal) is holding a spare magazine, the other soldier is looking along the sights of the gun with a finger on the trigger. On his left sleeve is an embroidered badge of a crown in a wreath. This is suggestive of him being a quartermaster.

Joy Thomas.

[Thomas & Mary Phillips]

A 'Permanent Platinotype' print of a couple in late middle age. A studio portrait, the couple are arranged so that Mrs Phillips is standing on the right of her husband who is seated. Both look prosperous and well-dressed.

Chapman, H. A. (Henry Alfred), fl. 1880 photographer

[The Mumbles]

Copy photograph of a ca.1860 engraving titled 'The Mumbles' and showing horse drawn trains on the Swansea & Mumbles Railway

Robinsons (Firm) engraver.

The crush of the bonehead crest

A large group of people, many in swimming costumes, loosely standing around a balding middle aged man in the centre of the photograph. A sign in the top right reads 'Ladies Cabins' suggesting the photo may have been taken at a holiday camp.

[Swimmer]

A woman in a bathing costume and swimming hat photographed from behind her left shoulder showing a wet and well suntanned back.
