A file containing transcripts of an article from The Western Mail, dated 9 March 1886, entitled 'The Explosion on the Steam paddle tug 'Rifleman'' together with a typescript imaginative piece entitled 'William Hunt or the Pilot's Ghost', written from the perspective of the man who died in the explosion. Also included in the file are holograph and typescript drafts of a ballad entitled 'The Awful Butetown Murders'.
