Mary Richards Commonplace Book
The commonplace book of Mary Richards, Darowen, [c. 1875], containing numerous stanzas and a few poems. A list of tunes which were apparently in her possession is also included. The volume agrees with the description given to MS 241 in the Handlist of Cwrtmawr MSS. The volume of Welsh airs referred to in that Handlist, along with No. 241, is possibly now AH1/28.

Lecture notes and one letter, 1940, relating to the history of Llanrwst and Denbighshire, particularly in the context of J. Lloyd Williams's own life. A card advertising his lecture entitled 'Reminiscences of an old Denbighshire Town', for the Denbighshire Society in London, February 1938, is also included.
A collection of folk songs, with annotations, submitted for competition at Llanfachreth Eisteddfod, June 1922. The name of the competitor is not known.

Lists of names of plants compiled from various sources. Also included is a letter from A. H. Hyde, 1929, of the National Museum of Wales, emphasising the need for an authoritative list of Welsh names of plants and suggesting that J. Lloyd Williams could perhaps undertake the work.
