The section comprises correspondence, papers and records deriving from O. M. Edwards's work as Chief Inspector of Schools in Wales under the aegis of the Welsh Department of the Board of Education from 1907 to 1920, and papers, 1892-1920, relating to his involvement in Welsh publishing, notably the editing of numerous journals and editions of the Welsh classics.
The series consists of files of letters and related papers from various presses relating to the production and publication of journals and monograph titles. The presses include the Welsh National Press Co. Ltd, Hughes and Co. Ltd, Wrexham, R. E. Jones and Brothers, Conway, and the Welsh Publishing Co., Caernarfon.
