Material, comprising itinerary, press releases and programmes, relating to the Hoddinotts' tour of Japan, May 1991, with the BBC Welsh Symphony Orchestra, is included.

Scrapbooks containing material relating to the composer's life and work, but mainly pertaining to performances of his works, both at home and abroad. They comprise press cuttings, concert programmes, radio listings, press releases, reviews, CD sleeves, etc., and occasionally letters. Material relating to the Cardiff Festival of Music, visits and tours abroad, and honours awarded, are also included.

Four typescript drafts of what appear to be radio scripts on the composer Alan Rawsthorne, together with an incomplete birthday tribute. Welsh notes and script relating to Benjamin Britten's opera 'Peter Grimes' (1976). A script for Music to Remember, introduced by Alun Hoddinott for BBC Home Service, 3 January 1967.
