A distant coastline with another vessel in the distance seemingly belching out a vast quantity of smoke. Image suffers from chemical spots.

[Unidentified coastal scenery]

A coastal settlement in front of what appears to be a small volcanic cone or plug. The settlement appears to be on a raised beach some metres above the waves suggesting an area of geological uplift.

[Two unidentified men]

Two men, one in a uniform the other smartly dressed wearing a grey Homburg and with two books under his arm. The smarter of the two appears in other photos and may have been a guide for parts of their trip.

Two men in uniform, one seemingly that of a railway worker, the other possibly a steward. Part of what appears to be a brake wheel is visible on the left of the photo. Possibly taken during David Lloyd George's visit to Brazil in 1928. Photo is out of focus.
