Philipps to Griffith Philipps of Cwmgwilly, esq., desining him to order one hundred and ninety pounds to be paid to writer's sister [Eliza] Horton, executrix to Henry Vaughan Horton, gent., deceased, her late husband, on account of two hundred and ninety pounds due from writer's late father Thomas Philippe of Pentre, esq., by bond; the said money to be paid out of money arising from the sale of estates in the parishes of Llanthoysaint and Langadock, [co. Carms]. Endorsed is a receipt, dated 1747, Apr. 1, from Eliza Horton to Griffith Phillipps for two hundred pounds.
