Note-book containing notes explaining the meaning of a list of Old Welsh words beginning with the letter A (ff. 2-4), notes for an essay entitled 'Llenyddiaeth o 1550 i 1800' (ff. 6-26), some rough notes on syntax (ff. 29, 34 and 79), and sketches of the family trees of the 14th century Welsh poet Madog Benfras and of W. J. Gruffydd's own family (ff. 115-17).
