Death certificates,

Certified copy of death certificates of deceased members sent by relatives or solictors acting on their behalf claiming death benefit, together with some correspondence.

District ledgers,

Proforma ledgers containing half yearly and annual accounts and balance sheets. The accounts record receipts and expenditure of the District arranged according to Funds such as Funeral, Management, Distress, Propaganda, Widows and Orphans and District United Investment Funds, and Accounts such as Investment, Property Revenue, Rent and Interest and Transfer Account, i.e. accounts in which the District acted as an agent between the the Lodges and the Unity. The balance sheets record details of the District's funds, liabilities and assets.

Funeral benefits register,

The register gives the name and Lodge of the deceased, including widows and wives of members; age at death and amount of funeral benefit paid. Causes of death are given in all cases from 1940 onwards.
