Eliot Crawshay-Williams and Alice Margaret Kate, the elder daughter of the late James Henry Gay Roberts of Turlake, Devon, married on 23 July 1908. There were two children of the marriage: Olwen (born 7 June 1909) and John (born 18 Jan. 1912). The marriage was dissolved by divorce in 1915.
