A copy of John Ray, Synopsis Methodica Stirpium Britannicarum, 2nd ed. (London, 1696) and of De Methodo Plantarum Viri Clarissimi D. Augusti Quirini Rivini..., both interleaved and annotated by Edward Lhuyd with notes relating to fossils, inscriptions, antiquities and various place names, river and mountain names, etc. in Wales, with further notes in another contemporary hand. The topographical notes include all the Merionethshire parishes of the diocese of St Asaph, and a few parishes in Denbighshire; there are also some drawings of monuments. An envelope in the box contains dried plants originally kept in the manuscript itself. Also included in the volume are examples of the poetry of Llawdden (fl. 1450).
The manuscript is in two parts and comprises two versions of the Laws of Hywel Dda. The first is the Befol version in a hand of the last quarter of the 15th century. The second part is in two hands of the first half of the 16th century. There are also two indentures included at the beginning and end of the manuscript.
A collection of Gwynedd pedigrees (constituting Anglesey, Carnarvonshire and Meirionethshire) in the hand of Lewis Dwnn, 1586-1611. There is also part of an index (A - M) of place names within the manuscript on pp. i-iv, and some poetry in the hand of the Reverend William Wynne on pp. ix-xii. A fragment of the manuscript is part of a manuscript from Nanhoron.

Rhys and Robert Vaughan of Hengwrt. The pages are not always in order as loose pages which had been separated have been joined together again during rebinding.

Bundles 1 and 2 comprise medical recipes and other texts in English; bundle 3 comprises copies of the wills of Robert Vaughan and Hywel Vaughan, with indentures, bills of complaints and other documents; bundle 4 comprises bills of Madam Vaughan; bundle 5 comprises fragments of poetry, also vocabularies by the Rev. William Wynn; bundle 6 contains a Botanologium, a Treatise on Urine and other texts, [c. 1460]; bundle 7 comprises 16th and 17th century Welsh religious and moral texts; and bundle 8 comprises a collection of medical recipes in English and Welsh. The fragments range in time from c. 1460 to 1750. Bundles 1, 2 (part ii), 3, 4 and 5 are contained in Peniarth MS 326 i; bundle 2 (part ii) is contained in Peniarth MS 326 ii; and bundles 6, 7 and 8 are contained in Peniarth MS 326 iii.
