A printed sale catalogue 'of the library of the late Francis Smith, esq., to which is added another valuable collection ... which will be sold by auction, by Mr Evans, at his house, No. 93 Pall Mall ... 1829'. The catalogue contains the books sent by W. W. E. Wynne (see Peniarth MS 549).

A rubbing probably made by W. W. E. Wynne of part of the inscription on the tombstone of Jane Brynkir, daughter of Robert Wynne of Glyn, 1691, at Llanbeblig, Caernarvonshire, the other part of the inscription being covered by the 'altar platform'.

A collection of manuscripts, [12 cent.]-1909, from the library of Peniarth, Merionethshire, the core of the historic collection being that of the library accumulated at Hengwrt, Merionethshire, by Robert Vaughan during the seventeenth century. The collection includes many of the most important Welsh language manuscripts, including the Black Book of Carmarthen (Peniarth MS 1), the Book of Taliesin (Peniarth MS 2), the White Book of Rhydderch (Peniarth MSS 4-5) and Brut y Tywysogion (the Chronicle of the Princes) (Peniarth MS 20), as well as important manuscripts in other languages such as the Hengwrt Chaucer (Peniarth MS 392), the Law of Hywel Dda (Peniarth MS 28), Beunans Meriasek (Peniarth MS 105) and Bede's De natura rerum (Peniarth MS 540B).

A printed copy of John Reynolds of Oswestry’s 'The Scripture Genealogy, beginning at Noah and his three sons, to the time of Job the Son of Issachar ... Also a display of herauldry Of the particular Coat Armours now in Use in the Six Counties of North-Wales, and several others Elsewhere; with the Names of the Families ...' (Chester: printed by Roger Adams, for the author, 1739).

Pedigrees for the three south-west Welsh counties derived from the early version of The British Geneologist of David Edwardes of Rhyd-y-gors. ‘The Pedigree of the Gentry in Cardigan shire’ (ff. 1-21 verso, original pagination 1-40, f. 16 is an insertion); Carmarthenshire (ff. 22-52 verso, original pagination 1-62); Pembrokeshire (ff. 53-73, original pagination 1-40, ff. 53-4 are misbound). The immediate source appears to be NLW MS 14214, including the earliest additions to that manuscript but not those by the second hand; and placing Cardiganshire before Carmarthenshire.
The pedigrees are printed from this manuscript in West Wales Historical Records, vols 1-2, where it is asserted (in vol. 1, p. [2]) that the scribe is ‘the same person’ as the one who wrote the Golden Grove Book. The hand is indeed similar to that of the amanuensis of Evan Evans of Carmarthen [died 1773], compiler of the Golden Grove Book, but some features of the script consistently differ.

Cywyddau of [15-17 cent.], notably by Siôn Cent, canu rhydd and englynion of [17 cent.], including many autograph by Owen Gruffydd, who wrote the manuscript about 1690 (e.g. pp. 133, 141-2, 148, 173, 194, 229), but in part perhaps as early as c. 1685 (see pp. 46, 117). Pages 195-210 are an insertion, and written in his later hand, including one autograph poem dated 1698 (p. 209). Owen Gruffydd added englynion in blank spaces.
Other hands of [18 cent., first ½] also made additions, including Daniel Griffyth (englynion on pp. 204-5, his signature also on p. 96), Robert Anwyl (an English englyn on p. 18), and three other hands (englynion and cerddi on pp. 239-46).
