A manuscript in the hand of John Jones, Gellilyfdy comprising orations by Gwgan, Gruffudd ap Ieuan ap Llywelyn Fychan and Ieuan Brydydd Hir; a translation of the Travels of Sir John Maundeville; the Prognostication of Dr Powel; and other texts. The manuscript was written between 2nd June 1605 and 22nd February 1610.
A metrical translation of Llyfr Salwyreu Dafydd Broffwyd (supposedly the work of Hugh Llwyd of Cynfal) in the hand of John Jones, Gellilyfdy. The manuscript was completed on 25 July 1635 (p. 644).

A manuscript, 1594, in several hands comprising a collection of vocabularies, with lists of words taken from the White Book of Rhydderch; the Welsh Laws; the works of Geoffrey of Monmouth; and other texts, some including Latin glosses; and a copy of the Index Verborum by Dr John Davies of Mallwyd.
A Welsh dictionary, including quotations mainly from poets explaining the use and meaning of words, mostly in the hand of Gruffudd Hiraethog, but with quotations added by others as well. Two leaves of the vellum covers include Latin texts.
The manuscript is in two parts: The first part comprises poetry, and a list of Welsh poets and their dates. The second part comprises elegies to S. Griffith of Llŷn, who died in 1585, by several poets, and an elegy to his widow, who died in 1597, by Hugh Pennant. The second part also includes the pedigrees of the kings of England out of Puffendorff from 802-1692.
A Welsh version of the Laws of Hywel Dda, in two or more hands. On pp. 113 and 160 there are notes in the hand of W. Wotton; a letter from Thomas Lewis transcribed onto p. 267 is only partially legible but contains the words 'Morgan', 'Tredegar', 'Radyr', 'Sainghenydd', and two englynion.
The texts of Dares Phrygius, Brut y Brenhinedd and Brut y Tywysogion in the hand of John Jones, Gellilyfdy, written in London, 2 August 1634. The manuscript is a transcript of Peniarth MS 19, with the lacunae filled from Peniarth MS 22.
A collection of Welsh texts, including two versions of Trioedd Ynys Prydain; Brut y Saeson; Cantrefi a Chymydau Cymru; a text on Eisteddfod Caerfyrddin; Dyddiau Tyngedfenol; Macsen Wledig; and Hanes Gruffudd ap Cynan in the hand of John Jones, Gellilyfdy while he was detained in the Fleet prison, 1635-1641. There are also a few Latin texts, including a memoranda of events in English history from A.D. 140 to 1380, De Geometria, and the Life of Elgarus. The text was completed on 22nd June 1641 by John Jones of Ysgeifiog and transcribed by William Maurice in 1662.

The material includes extracts from Giraldus Cambrensis; lives of saints; a list of Cotton manuscripts which contain lives of saints; and lists of the kings of Ireland before the conquest. The edges of the manuscript are fragile.
