An extremely long letter, from Mary Penry, to her uncle and cousins, describing her life in America. She says that, "although I am in no connection with the Methodists, I have a great respect for them ... the Church of England, which I shall ever esteem as my Mother Church, teaches us universal charity ... the Brethren's Church, of which I am an humble member, believes that whosoever believeth in the Lord Jesus shall be saved ... ".
