Miscellaneous files

The series comprises Sue Harrie's general file for 1977; a general file mostly containing material relating to the newsletter, 1978-1984; and a file containing notes on possible research into marketing and publicity of Anglo-Welsh literature.

Sue Harries' general file

The file contains a wide variety of papers relating to Sue Harries's work for the Academi in 1977. It includes drafts of the Academi newsletter, 1977, together with drafts of articles and correspondence to be published in the newsletter; minutes of 1977 executive committee meetings; a report on the Writers on Tour scheme; a statement of the facts concerning a claim made by Tredegar Press Ltd and a programme for a 'Novel in Wales' weekend conference, 1-4 September 1977.

General file

The file includes a few copies of the Academi newsletter, notes on the section's achievements, a list of members dated July 1978 and a report on the English Language Section of the Academi by Sue Harries, dated December 1976. There is also a report given by the secretary of the ELS to the Welsh section's business meeting, September 1978.

Financial papers

The series consists of papers relating to the financial management of the New Welsh Review, 1990-1992, and contains statements of account, balance sheets and correspondence relating to grant applications.
