Material relating to the renewing of the 1910 Time Agreement for winding enginemen including statistical tables showing the relative wages of enginemen under previous general wage agreements, correspondence and letters regarding the reaction of enginemen towards the proposed Agreement and the efforts of some to avoid signing it, and memoranda from other coalfields reporting the wages and conditions of enginemen in those districts.

Correspondence regarding the attitude of the Coal Owners Association towards these regulations, which were thought to affect colliery sidings, with members, the Mining Association of Great Britain, and other interested bodies.
