East India Company establishment list,

List of the Company’s covenanted (i.e. the civil as opposed to the military) servants on the Bengal establishment in 1766 giving details of their names and employment (e.g. collector general, import warehouse keeper, chaplain, secretaries to committees, surgeons, etc.), dates of arrival (ranging from 1744 to 1765, the latter year marking the commencement of Clive’s last tour of duty), station on arrival and present station, annual salary, monthly allowance, annual house rent and gratuity.

A manuscript copy, [c. 1765], of the charter of 8 Jan. 1753 (26 George 11) establishing courts of justice in the East Indies concluding with (pp 75-80) a special reference to the Calcutta court in the form of a ‘Table to the Charter so far as Relates to the Mayors Court’.

Enclosure to letter from Mr Parkes,$f1758, January 5.

Relates to Shamshir Quli-Khan, Ramnarayan, Nawab Ahmad Khan Qurayshi, Shuja-ud-Daula, the Nawab of Oudh, and to events in Azimabad. This enclosure bears the date 25th Rabi` al-Thani, reg. yr 4 [i.e. 6 January 1758], apparently the same date as a note in English on verso: 'enclosed in Mr Parkes letter of 5th Jan 1758'.

Harkarah news reports from Benares on 25th Safar, reg. yr 4 [i.e. 8 November 1757]. -- Enclosure 1: Sadr al-Haqq Khan and Shiv Pandit had entered Bahadurpur, and that Shuja-ud-Daula was at Manikpur; also news regarding the sons of Ghalib Jang, the Emperor Alamgir, subahdari of Ilahabad, the fawjdari of Benares, Ram Parshad, gumashtah to the Jagat Seth, a meeting between the Frenchman Jean Law and Shuja-ud-Daula, Nawab of Oudh, at Lucknow; Khwajah Tamkin[?] Khan; Khwajah Mu`izz Allah; Nawab Muhammad Quli-khan Bahadur, Na'ib Subah Ilahabad; Muhammad Quli-khan and the French near Ilahabad; Nawab Muhammad Amin Bik-khan. -- Enclosure 2:Referring again to Ram Parshad, and the payment of sums totaling 100,000 rupees to Nawab Ghazi al-Din Khan and to the king of the Marhathas.
